While Youtube, Phanfare and Metacafe share millions of videos, mostly video clips, there are a rare few sites like Hulu.com that offer full TV episodes, trailers and full length movies along with some of the great skits of Saturday Night Live. Owned by NBC Universal, a joint venture between NBC, FOX and ABC, is now the third most trafficked video website and continues is growth plans with this deal with ABC. Hulu has all the recent episodes of Family Guy, Merlin, Jon Stewart, Burn Notice and too many more to mention along with classics like the Mary Tyler Moore Show. But now, according to TechCrunch, Hulu has been partially acquired by Walt Disney Corp, the owners of ABC, and starting tonight will run episodes of Greys Anatomy and in the fall add shows like Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Scrubs.

Hulu, a joint venture between NBC, FOX and ABC, is now the third most trafficked video website and continues is growth plans with this deal with ABC. Along with TV episodes from NBC, FOX and now ABC, Hulu has many of the small additions that DVDs collectors have become accustomed with interviews from the casts of the various shows. Along with my favorite, Saturday Night Live, Hulu offers hundreds of movies, all free, and while these are not the most recent releases, they do have some new movies and the list continues to expand. Before you go see Taking of Pelham 123 with Denzel, you can check it out on Huluwith Walter Mathau. Review and discussion forums are also very active for this growing website.
I found Hulu when I was search for old episodes of Burn Notice and have been an avid user since. Hopefully they continue to expand their content and maintain all past episodes of a show as opposed to their varying amount of past content of current shows. Hulu is free now, but I would expect to see them offer a paid channel as they bring more recent shows, movies and possibly live entertainment to the internet.
