Everyone has had to deal with a carpet stain at one time or another. Whether it be from a spilled drink, a pet accident, or some grime from someone’s shoes we have all had that moment of panic staring down at our stained carpet and wondering what to do next. This is why we decided to test out Mighty Blast. The infomercial made some rather spectacular claims and we just had to see for ourselves how this carpet-cleaning product really performed.
Mighty Blast is a stain remover that uses what they refer to as extract-a-foam to blast away stains from up to 6 feet away. The concept is that this special foam lifts, breaks up and disintegrates stains from your carpet without doing any damage. The can "blasts" the foam down to your carpet so you don’t have to bend down to apply it. If this product could deliver on its promises, it would be a cleaner no home with carpeting should ever be without.
Keeping in line with what they show in the commercial, we spilled coffee, grape juice and even motor oil onto a light colored carpet. While we waited for the stains to soak in a bit, we decided to hit a few of the smaller, older stains with a shot from Mighty Blast. To our shock, the stains were vanishing right in front of our eyes. Just as promised, Mighty Blast’s extract-a-foam was eliminating the stains without any bending or scrubbing.
Next up, it was time to attack the three major stains we had created. After letting it soak in a while, we hit the stains with the Mighty Blast. Once again the stains began vanishing as we watched. This time however, the stains were a bit to tough to be removed without any further effort. The directions do note that for tougher stains blotting and reapplying may be necessary. We followed the directions and after several applications the stains were virtually 100% eliminated. The stains were barely noticeable unless you were really trying to spot them. We were all pleasantly surprised at just how well Mighty Blast worked and lived up to its claims.

- All natural and eliminates odor
Cons:
All in all we have to say that Mighty Blast is the best carpet-cleaning product we have ever used. It will certainly clean as well, if no better than any store bought product with just a blast. I took a can home and will always keep one on hand knowing that messy carpet spills are no longer a concern for me. We give Mighty Blast our highest rating of 5 out of 6 Stars.
