At StarReviews, we always like a good multi-function device. The Knight Hawk Pen falls in that category as a 3-in-1 pen magnifier. At its core, The Knight Hawk is a writing instrument. However this pen comes with a built in magnifier and LED light. The Knight Hawk is a pretty straightforward product that could certainly be useful so we put it to the test.
The Knight Hawk Pen comes with preinstalled with black ink and the batteries needed to power the LED light. Also included was a blue replacement ink cartridge. A slight twist of the top of the pen reveals a 3X magnification panel and a small switch on the body of the pen operates the LED light.
The magnifier worked quite well and would serve as a nice replacement for reading glasses in certain situations like reading a menu or doing a crossword puzzle. The LED light was bright and could be used in conjunction with the magnifier for reading fine print in a low light situation. The light would also work well in any other situation, such as using your keys at night, where a quick light was needed. The pen itself is weighted nicely. Not too heavy and not too light. It wrote smoothly and evenly and fit comfortably in a shirt pocket. The Knight Hawk performed each of its functions quite well.

The Knight Hawk Pen serves three purposes and does each of them well. Why settle for just a pen when you can have a pen, an LED light and a magnifier all in one? The Knight Hawk passed our tests and is a great gift for any gadget person. We gave the Knight Hawk Pen a solid 5 out of 6 Star rating.
