Nothing beats waking up on a Sunday morning to enjoy a fine breakfast with eggs and bacon. StarReviews decided to set out and test the as seen on TV product the Bacon Wave. The Bacon Wave makes some bold claims that it can cook up to 14 delicious crispy bacon strips right in your microwave. Could this be true, is there a way to quickly cook bacon with good results in your microwave? StarReviews decided to put the claims and the Bacon Wave to the test.
We were able to pick up our Bacon Wave for $19.95 and figured if it worked as they claim it would be a great addition to our Sunday morning breakfasts. We have tested a few other cooking devices that claim to work and deliver results in your microwave, and some have disappointed, but we were open to see how the Bacon Wave would perform. There are 14 slots in the Bacon Wave and there is a tray on the bottom to catch the grease as it runs off the cooking bacon. The Bacon Wave claims to cook bacon with less fat, less calories and even less cholesterol – could this be true, are we about to eat a healthier bacon?
We followed the cooking instructions for the bacon that we found in the included recipe guide and placed the plastic cooking rods through the bacon slices. We placed the Bacon Wave in the microwave and waited to see the results. After about 7 minutes we removed the Bacon Wave from the microwave and conveniently poured the grease out of the tray and sure enough we had perfectly crispy and cooked bacon. Clean up was a breeze as well because the Bacon Wave is dishwasher safe, after a quick rinse in the sink we tossed the Bacon Wave on the top shelf of the dishwasher and our work was done!

StarReviews was extremely pleased with our results from the As Seen on TV product Bacon Wave. It was easy to use and quickly produced perfectly crispy cooked bacon. The included recipe guide was easy to follow and gave you the cooking times for the various wattages of microwaves. It was extremely easy to clean the Bacon Wave because the tray caught the grease and it was simply poured out and then the Bacon Wave was ready for the dishwasher for a final clean. StarReviews gives the Bacon Wave 6 out of 6 Stars, it is certainly an As Seen on TV product that lives up to all of its claims.
