Anyone who has ever put on jewelry knows it can sometimes be a pain especially with bracelets or necklaces, you often times need to ask someone to help you put it on. Well not anymore, and that is why StarReviews set out to test the As Seen on TV product the Clever Clasp. We wanted to put the Clever Clasp to the test and see if it lives up to the claims they make about the product in their infomercial.
The Clever Clasp kit comes with 4 clasps, 2 in silver and 2 in gold which screw together to create a secure connection. Also included in our kit were 2 extenders, one in gold and one in silver that could be used to add a little extra length to any necklace. Using the kid was pretty easy, just simply open the clasp on one end of the Clever Clasp and hook it to your bracelet or necklace, and the other end of the Clever Clasp gets hooked into the clasp of your bracelet or necklace. Once you have the Clever Clasp installed on your piece of jewelry you simply unscrew the secure locking joint and then pull, this will release the magnets and separate your Clever Clasp.
After that, putting that necklace or bracelet on is a breeze, just position the necklace or bracelet as best as possible and the strength of the magnets will attract both ends together, and then simply screw together the Clever Clasp to ensure a secure connection. We even tested the strength of the magnets on the clever clasp by picking up a set of car keys with key chains, and they were plenty strong enough to hold them. One thing we didn’t like about the Clever Clasp system was that it extends the length of any of your jewelry by about one inch when installed as it sits between your original claps adding length.

Overall, for the often times pesky task of putting on a necklace or bracelet the Clever Clasp will be a fine solution. The Clever Clasp is an As Seen on TV product that really does its job well living up to the claims made about the product on its infomercial. It was easy to use from installation to removal and the secure locking connection made us feel safe knowing that our jewelry was securely connected. StarReviews gives the Clever Clasp 5 out of 6 Stars. The Clever Clasp is a great product and stood up to our testing quite well.
