So, what are they?
Well at the end of the day don't we all share the same resume objectives i.e. to portray a true and accurate portrait of our working lives to date?
We impart reams of personal information about ourselves to complete strangers and in doing so we are selling our soul to the highest bidder, well hopefully we are (or should I say I am!).
Perversely, a resume does give away that exact information, information that we probably wouldn't tell a stranger in the street;
What are your personal interests?
What do you do in your spare time?
How well educated are you?
Isn't that odd?

So, what do we really need to put into these resumes or should I say what are our
resume objectives? Let’s face it, the document is ours, it contains our achievements and perhaps our failures. I have imparted knowledge on my resume of a business venture I embarked upon in the early 1990's which to this day I am convinced would have put me into the fortune 500 magazine, however due to circumstances outside of my direct control the business failed. Should I therefore mask this part of my life? No, I don’t consider that I should as my side of the business was a complete success ... so, I therefore have entrusted others to allow me the opportunity to explain what happened and appreciate my achievement within that business. The big question is how have I done this and for that I required
resume help. My
resume help or "
helper" cold called me (there you go to all you ambitious youngsters, it does work!!) from which followed hours of subsequent conversations and discussions on how to achieve my
resume objectives. It’s a fascinating subject and getting that
resume help enabled me to get my resume written correctly time and time again. Let’s face it they’re not magicians, and there will often be people who out qualify you, but if you focus on your
resume objectives separately for each individual job application then your resume help will be able to assist you in getting past other hurdles like buzz words or key words.
Unfortunately, I appear to be one of those individuals who has been there, seen it, done it, watched the video, got the tee shirt (and in my case had it removed again!). Should I apologise for this? Hmmm ... yes, I probably should or in time you may learn to hate me for what you could be forgiven for portraying as arrogance. Let me tell you it is a hard place to come from ... this been there place. If the shoe had fit slightly differently perhaps I would have become a quite arrogant individual, but the rise and falls have humbled me somewhat having never really got to where I want to be ... yet.
There is a purpose for imparting this information to you other than wanting you to continue reading, that is because it was during one of those down periods in my life that I decided (ermm, sorry was persuaded) upon getting
resume help. That help was offered to me at a time when I could least afford it, yet without it I felt I would never do my phoenix trick and rise again from those all too hot ashes.
My
resume help set about me like a rash and for a paid service I sometimes wondered what exactly I had got myself into. She first discussed the key reason for her employment could not be carried out until I was straight in my own mind about my
resume objectives. Once we had achieved setting out those
resume objectives we embarked on a journey that lasted about a month until if by magic, one of those jobs which I had applied for ended up in a positive phone call, a subsequent chain of interviews, and a full time job of my choosing.
Now, if you are anything like me, you will appreciate the hard part is getting the
job interview. I am yet to be interviewed for a role and not got it if it is something that I have truly wanted, so getting me through the door initially was all the help I required in getting back my life and my career.
I was a sceptic on this road and was desperately worried in the beginning that my money could have been wasted. If you are out there and looking for a job it is only going to get more difficult as more people compete for less jobs. I think the average number of applicants when I was applying was 200+ applicants for each vacancy, if the internet is your preferred mode of applying it is likely to be ten times that.
Don’t let yourself down, get it right, get
resume help!
