Microsoft Update Removes Rogue Antivirus
Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool’s latest update will remove the rogue antivirus software, Internet Antivirus Pro. The fake antivirus program, which goes under many different names, is in no way an antivirus program and is much closer to extortionware. This type of software, which does nothing to remove viruses from your computer, has become much more common in the past months and has been a major headache to legitimate antivirus software vendors.
