We are all movie buffs here at StarReviews and often are found quoting various movies in meetings and conversations. One day earlier this month, the conversation turned to the top movie quotes of all time. Not just the ones that are synonymous with the movie -- "Yo Adriene" or "Show Me The Money" -- but the lines that we walked out of the theater repeating to ourselves and again everytime we thought of that movie. Of course, "I am the king of the world" is a classic and the line identified with Titanic more than anything other but there are others that bring us back to that night like "you're gonna need a bigger boat" or "nobody puts Baby in a corner". Any line that uses guns and canolis in the same sentence has all the makings of a classic movie quote.
Here is the StarReviews list of our Top 99 movie quotes. Why 99? Well, we aren't perfect and we know we missed at least one classic line and we are sure that you will let us know what that one is. The list was tough enough to compile so we posted them alphabetically as we couldn't decide which was number one.
