With his options down to the two final ladies, and his final choice due by the end of the two hour finale, Luke took Malissa and Tali home to meet his family. After lunch in the park with Tali and his dog, they ventured to his father’s home for a cook out with Luke’s brother, grandmother, and father. Luke’s grandmother approved of Tali, but seemed like the type of lady that would approve of everyone. Luke’s dad was a different story. He grilled Tali, primarily about her Israeli heritage. He made no bones about the fact he felt Luke and Tali would meet struggle after struggle coming from two different religious backgrounds. He also made it very clear he expected any children that may come into their family to be raised Christian. read more >> |

As of this past Tuesday, Luke is down to two ladies, and there is probably more than one More to Love viewer watching who is confident they know who he will pick in the finale. Luke traveled to Hawaii with the ladies and enjoyed one group date, and three individual dates with each of the ladies. Mandy, Tali, and Malissa still remain. He spent a large portion of what we saw of the dates assuring the ladies he was in love with them and boosting their confidence they would be chosen. His onscreen interviews were also meant to convince the audience Luke had no idea who he was going to pick. read more >> |

Martha Stewart details in the forward of her Homekeeping Handbook that she so enjoyed popular household manuals of the past, she felt compelled to write her own updated version. Among her favorites were Mrs. Beeton's Book of Household Management from 1961, as well as An Encyclopedia of Domestic Economy published in 1845, and The Concise Household Encyclopedia from early in the twentieth century. She took tips from each of these manuals, combined them with many of the things she has learned over the years, updated the information to create a helpful, modern guide, and combined it all into her 744 page Homekeeping Handbook. read more >> |

Dean Koontz's canine-oriented thriller, The Darkest Evening of the Year keeps readers guessing right from the start. A medley of storylines are woven together to create a fast-paced, easy to read mystery that makes for a great beach read, or a good story for a rainy weekend. His love of the Golden Retriever breed of dog has bled into his fiction, and he does a wonderful job of personalizing the dogs, and describing the idiosyncrasies and uniquely lovable characteristics that those familiar with retrievers will recognize in an instant. Nickie, and her newly acquired Golden sibling, Fred and Ethel, are as much a part of the storyline as their human counterparts. read more >> |

Essential oils have been used throughout history for a variety of reasons. During Biblical times, Moses made annointing oils from myrrh, calamus, cinnamon, and cassia, and the ancient Egyptions used the oils for embalming. During the middle ages, they were popular as perfumes and medications, but it was not until 1910 when French chemist Rene-Maurice Gattefosse used lavendeer oil to soothe a burn on his hand that doctors began using essential oils as a complement to conventional drugs. read more >> |

IBS is a functional digestive disorder, and not a disease. This means that there is a problem with the communication between the brain and the gut, and that miscommunication causes stomach pain. Vomiting is not often associated with the condition, but can occasionally result from the sensations of nausea. Women may find that they have IBS outbreaks in conjunction with menstruation. There is no cure for IBS, but a wide variety of tools are available for controlling the symptoms. Diet has a direct effect on IBS outbreaks as well, and thus, is one of the main components for controlling it naturally. read more >> |
