First they tell you your payment will never go up anf you sign a contract agreeing to that payment amount. They breach the contract, without notice, increase your payment but you don't know that until you see your bank statement. It goes up once, you call complain, and they give you some excuse about "added fees from creditors" however you never see the payments to your creditors increase or these mysterious "fees". Your payment goes up again 3 months later. They give you the same song and dance. Now your payments are late getting to your creditors, they have no idea why of course..the payment date never changed but delray isn't getting the payments out on time and now you are getting nasty grams again from your creditors. I am not at all impressed with customer service. Once they enroll you, you can't call and talk to them when you need to and the online account information is seriously lacking. If they are going to increase your payment, they need to be able to show you where it is going and not give a bunch of empty excuses to keep taking it. Oh and the first "down" payment they promise will get used against accounts as necessary in the first payments...no that doesn't happen.

Delray Credit Counseling is a non-profit educational service that offers a variety of financial educational services. Ranging from non-profit free credit counseling, debt consolidation, budgeting, understanding credit reports and scores as well as understanding credit card charges. Delray Credit Counseling services the Debt Management Program (DMP) offered to consumers by the banks and finance companies. This program combines the accounts a consumer is looking to include into one monthly payment and the interest rates are typically reduced or eliminated. If a consumer's accounts are being billed late or over-limit fees those will stop once the account are set up into the DMP.

There are also too many resources offered on the website. The website offers for comprehensive material on subjects such as Budgeting, Credit Reports, Credit Scores and Understanding Finance Charges. The website also provides for extensive links to resources to assist consumers in finding the answers they need on topics such as Taxes and Home Mortgages.

This all makes it a good service provider.
