I have had a positive experience with ecampus.com this past semester. I bought books off the site for all of my classes at half of what it would've cost me at my campus bookstore. I received them in a timely manner and am very pleased with my experience.

I searched all over to find a book that was out of print. ecampus.com claimed to have it. Well ecampus is not a bookstore, they are a middle man. They recieve your order, contact their suppliers and the suppliers ship to ecampus. Then ecampus will ship it to you. If you want a book fast, do not buy from these guys. since they do not have the books on site, you have to wait basically double the time it usually takes to order a book. I was emailed with my order information the next day which i like. It stated that if my order did not come by a certain date to call customer service and check on the order. I ordered the book on january 23. on feb 9th i called customer service. my book is listed in the system as expected to get to ecampus on feb 2nd. so 7 days after they still do not have it. she did not have any idea when the book will be available and was unwilling to help find a way to speed up the process. she kept saying "its all automated" like she had no control as customer service to help customers. on top of all of this they have a hold on my bank account for the amount of the book. for almost a month there has been a pending charge on my account. I work at a hotel and we do the same thing. you authorize the credit card to see if it will be able to be charged the amount of the order. she was unwilling to get the pending charge off because i had to call my bank. i already called my bank and was told i would need ecampus to call and verify that it was okay. the girl from ecampus said they do not call banks for customers. the only thing she offered was for me to cancel my order. what help is this customer service. after i got off the phone i am no more informed about the status of my book than before. it still should have been at ecampus a week ago and they have no idea where the book is. I am never going to buy from this website ever again. I have bought books off amazon and ebay and i have never had a problem. I trust individual people more than this middle man company. please do put yourself through what i had to deal with, buy from somewhere else.

E-campus.com is a great site to buy your textbooks at. Whenever I’m looking for cheap textbooks, this is the site I always end up turning to. Not only can you buy textbooks at e-campus, but you can also sell your textbooks back at a decent price. I’ve used this feature a couple of times, and although I got 50% less than what I paid for the book, I would rather get money back from a book that I don’t use than have it laying around.
They always ship very quickly, and the books always come in the condition that it’s described as. Furthermore, the prices are also very low, but make sure to do your due diligence before deciding to shop at e-campus, because a couple of times I have found prices cheaper elsewhere.
