Experian lets consumers view their 3 bureau credit report and
credit scores online for 30 days for a $1.00
processing fee. The $1.00 fee enrolls consumers into the 30 day trial
Triple Advantage membership. If you do not cancel within the trial
period, you will then be billed $12.95 per month for the service.
If you are not interested in a membership, you have the option of
ordering a one-time copy of your credit report. There are 3 options to
choose from, the 3 bureau report, the Experian and credit score report
or the Experian credit only report without credit scores. All can be
viewed online one time or you can print the reports if you choose.
Experian will scan the internet for unauthorized use of your social
security number and credit cards which similar credit reporting and
monitoring services do not offer. They will also enter your address into
the National Change of Address database to see if someone is trying to
change your address so that your mail can be forwarded to them. In the event that your credit does become compromised, Experian.com
offers a $1 million product guarantee to its members.
The additional services available on the Experian website are
unparalleled. Consumers can get a Contractor Check report if they are
looking to have work done to their home, businesses can order credit
reports and monitoring services for their companies, you can even get a
Vehicle History report if you are looking to purchase a used car!
