Guardian Protection Services offers security systems and monitoring
services both your home and office. They provide protection against
burglars, fires and they have a personal emergency response system so
that you can get help you quickly.
Guardian Protection Services security system is only $99. Similar
companies who offer the same types of security systems and service
charge a higher upfront fee then make customers wait for a rebate check
that comes in the mail. This is good for families who live on a budget
because it keeps their out-of-pocket expenses down.
Guardian Protection Services is for homeowners only; they do not provide
security monitoring services to renters. The security system includes a
touch pad control panel, 2 window or door contacts, a motion detector,
siren, signs for your front yard plus decals for your windows. You also
get your choice of two bonuses with purchase. You can opt for a wireless
key entry so you can control the system outside of your home or from
another room. It comes with a panic button so if you happen to be
attacked in your garage or outside the home, you can get help quickly.
Or you may choose a heat detector instead which will detect temperature
changes in the home in case of fire.
Unfortunately Guardian requires that everyone submit to a credit check
before they can be approved for their service. Similar companies who
offer home security service do not require that you let them check your
credit. Some consumers view this as an invasion of privacy and they may
choose to go with another company. The monthly monitoring fees are not
listed on the company’s website. We called the company and they did not
want to release the information unless you actually go through the
process of purchasing the system. You must allow a sales associate to
visit you and evaluate your home and security needs. Guardian Protection
Services does not offer a free trial.

Guardian Protection Services website claims to have a FAQ section to get answers to your questions however we could not locate a tab to click on to take us there. The website does allow their customers to pay their bills online as well as offer a $25 reward if you fill out a form to refer a friend or family member to their company.
We called the toll free number listed on their site and had no problem getting through during regular business hours. One nice thing is that Guardian has separate toll free numbers for their billing, customer service and sales departments so you get right through to the department you are looking for without having to be transferred.
