Phone directory search- Not only were we able to search cell phones by phone number, but we could also search by name. (Most cell phone directories are reverse-number searches.) Even unlisted phone numbers and Internet phone numbers can be researched (for a fee of course).

Intelius offers customer support via an online email form, phone and FAQ pages. The FAQ was organized quite well and was very easy to navigate, but what impressed us more was the live phone support. The employee we spoke with was helpful and very understanding regarding our request. She explained our options in depth and was very knowledgeable about Intelius' product offerings. Email support was also prompt. We received the answer to our email inquiry the very same day we sent it. When it comes to background checks, the right service makes all the difference and Intelius is really on top of their game.

Downside:
My own personal background check returned many results, thus making it a little difficult to tell which one to purchase.
