The short form mortgage loan application was a piece of cake to fill
out. The instructions said it would take less than five minutes to fill
out; it took us less than two minutes. The short form required no
account set up, but the long form did. The long form required an
account setup in order to come back to a partially completed
application. The long form took about 10 minutes to complete. Our time
was shortened due to the help of the document checklist and full
downloadable application, which helped to make sure we had all the
required documents before beginning the online application process. We
really liked was that we could download the full five page mortgage
application. We were then able to see all the information required in
order to estimate how long it would take us to complete the
application. The Star Review team appreciates when the mortgage loan
company allows you to view the entire application before beginning.

Favorite MSI Lending Feature
The Star Review team really liked the “Helpful Tips” and “Document Checklist” sections of the website. Although we have seen this section on other mortgage loan websites, it is rare. This is helpful to the consumer because it allows them to find all of their required documents before they start the mortgage loan application.

There is no application fee when applying online for a mortgage loan with MSI Lending
MSI Lending Customer Service
The customer services options at MSI Lending are limited to completing an online form or by calling (866) 654-7334. There is no way to conduct an online chat nor did we see an email address. A customer service operator answered the phone within 2 rings when we called the main phone number. The operator was unable to answer our fee based questions, so she transferred us to a Loan Officer. The Loan Officer we spoke to was professional and friendly. When we told him we were going to be completing their application online, he offered to complete it over the phone for us. We appreciated the helpful attitude we were presented with when speaking with the MSI Lending officer.
