All of that “call me before you fax so I can switch the line over” hassle just isn't worth it sometimes. And let's not even start on how some of those fax machines look like something dropped off by alien visitors from another planet. Online Fax services have taken what was once a complicated (and sometimes insanity-inducing) task and made it grammar-school easy. MyFax is one of the top online faxing services on the Web, so we couldn't leave it out of our Fax service reviews. Read on to find out everything you need to know about what MyFax has to offer.
What's New MyFax Online Faxing Services?- Personal, business and corporate faxing plans.
- No setup fees.
- Local and toll-free numbers available.
Star Reviews Favorite MyFax Feature: We really liked the fact that MyFax allows you to schedule your fax transmissions ahead of time. Ready to send the fax at nine in the morning but you don't want the person on the other end getting it till after noon? Not a problem. MyFax allows you to time your fax transmissions with scheduled delivery.
The MyFax Experience: When you hit the MyFax homepage, the first thing we recommend you do is enter your email address so you can “test drive” the MyFax service. When you enter your email, you'll be sent a test fax showing you exactly how your faxes will arrive in your inbox.
In addition to the test drive, there's also a flash demo that takes you through each step of sending and receiving electronic faxes via the MyFax service. And, if after that, you're still not sure what online faxing is all about, MyFax even offers online webinars that take you by the hand and teach you the ins and the outs of using their Faxing service.
After you've learned everything you need to know about online faxing, it's time to decide which of the MyFax plans are best for you. There are four basic plans to choose from, although corporate plans are available for those with more complicated online faxing needs.
When you do sign up for the MyFax service, make sure you take advantage of the 3-minute new user tutorial. It will recap everything you need to know to send and receive faxes using your email and the MyFax service.

- $10 per month or $110 per year- you can send 100 fax pages and receive 200 free fax pages per month.
- $20 per month-you can send 200 fax pages and receive 200 free fax pages per month.

MyFax Customer Support: MyFax offers some of the best customer service to be found in the online faxing industry. All MyFax customers have 24/7 access to MyFax customer support. If you can't find the answers to your questions in the online help pages (which isn't a likely scenario considering all of the information they put there for you), you can contact the company via phone or email. When we called MyFax, the rep we spoke with was more than helpful, explaining the answers to our questions very clearly and even directing us to specific web pages that addressed our Faxing needs. Email support was just as impressive with an answer coming in the same day we sent our question. The only thing that could have been added was live chat support, but with phone support available this wasn't too much of a drawback.
Upside:
Awesome customer service, great pricing, archiving available.
Downside:
If you want archiving for more than a year, you'll have to pay for it.
