The Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 Experience:
The install process for Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 was quick and clean. There weren't too many complicated options to select from and the easy to follow prompts made the whole installation quick and painless. In fact, it was one of the easiest installs we encountered.
Once the program was running we found the interface to be nearly as clean and easy to follow as the installation was. It's important to note, however, that while the lack of configurable options makes this program very user friendly, it may be a disappointment to advanced users who seek more flexibility.
As far as being effective, we found that Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 was able to detect and eliminate many types of malicious programs that were on our computers, as well as those that tried to gain access. This in conjunction with the personal firewall went a long way in ensuring that our computer was well protected.
While there was some notable slowdown during scan times, it was comparable to other anti-virus programs. Overall the system performance was not impacted drastically and the protection offered is well worth any minor resource loss.

Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 comes with 4 different pricing options for up to 3 computers and are as follows:

Panda Customer Service:
Panda customer service consists of two types of problem resolution. The first option is to make use of the web-based FAQ pages. These pages answer some of the more basic questions that users will encounter and for the most part do not provide detailed information that may be needed for some problems.
The second piece of Panda's customer service is an email form that allows users to send there problem questions to be answered by a Panda technician. The one that we sent was answered within a business day and did solve the problem that we had.
In regards to actual phone support, there was much to be desired. For basic customers there is no phone support offered. This was a definite letdown. If, however, you are purchasing multiple licenses and have a bit more money to spend, phone support does become available.
