About StubHub Online Ticket Services
StubHub is an online marketplace where consumers can buy and sell tickets at fair market value, with StubHub charging reasonable commission fees. Using a patent-pending delivery system called FanNetworkSM, StubHub provides a safe environment to buy and sell tickets to games, concerts, theater and other live entertainment events.
StubHub also offers a FanProtect Guarantee for buyers and sellers. Sellers on the StubHub website are guaranteed that they will never be contacted directly by a buyer or prospective buyer, will be able to adjust their ticket prices at any time prior to selling them and will receive payment from StubHub for all tickets sold via the site. Buyers are guaranteed to get their tickets (which are guaranteed to be authentic) in time for the event and that the tickets will be exactly what was ordered (or better).

Online Ticket Selection:

Charges:
StubHub charges a 10 percent commission to buy tickets on their website and a 15 percent commission to sell tickets.
Selling Your Tickets Online:
StubHub allows ticket holders to sell their tickets via the website. You can sell your tickets in either a "fixed price" or "auction" format. StubHub charges a 15 percent commission to sell your tickets, so if you sell your tickets for $100, StubHub will receive $15 of that amount.
StubHub Return Policy:
StubHub does not offer a return or refund policy. If an event that you purchase tickets to is canceled, StubHub will send you an email letting you know if the cancellation warrants a refund. If you receive such an email, you must return your tickets within two weeks of receiving it to be eligible for the refund.
Customer Support:
StubHub offers customer support via online email submission form, a toll-free phone number and a comprehensive FAQ database. When we dialed the toll-free customer service number, the representative we spoke with was very helpful and was able to answer our questions quickly and knowledgeably. The FAQ database also proved to be a valuable resource. Our email inquiry, however, was not answered due to the fact that it bounced back to us as undeliverable.
Upside:
FanProtect ticket services guarantee peace of mind for both buyers and sellers, reasonable fees.
Downside:
Buyers cannot see the seat numbers for certain event tickets they are interested in buying.
