We really like Telaflora's online flower guides. From taking care of your flowers to learning the meanings behind the different types, Telaflora has a guide with the information you need to make wise gift-giving decisions.
The Telaflora Experience:
When we first arrived at the Telaflora website we were a bit put off. It didn't look as well laid-out as all of the other websites we had visited. However, after closer consideration we realized that less may indeed be more, and we got used to the look and feel of the site. Especially after we saw all the helpful and informative flower guides.
Telaflora has more than a dozen flower guides to choose from with topics ranging from the meaning of different flowers to how to care for them. We found the birthday floral gift guide and the Meaning of Flowers guide to be extremely interesting and helpful.
Telaflora does break down their offerings by category, occasion and even color once you're in the thick of the site. Flowers are also broken down by price. We found this to be very helpful since many of us are on a budget when it comes to giving gifts. Don't have a lot of cash to spare? Stick to a category that makes sense for your budget, and you should be fine.

Telaflora Customer Service:
Considering Telaflora's prices were higher than most, we'd have liked to seen exemplary customer service. After all, we can sometimes overlook higher costs if the service makes up for it. This, unfortunately, was not the case. Telaflora's customer service leaves quite a bit to be desired. First was the hold time, almost a full ten minutes. Then there was the fact that the rep we spoke to was rude and when we asked for her name we were mysteriously disconnected. We'd have liked to say that email support made up for it. Maybe it would have if we had actually received a response to our email inquiry. While Telaflora definitely has the potential of being a great online flower store to shop with, they have to work on their service before we can wholeheartedly recommend them.
